Learn how to create this abstract Dance night poster with Photoshop. In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to create abstract atmospheric. Throughout the tutorial, you’ll learn how to use dodge and burn tool to do basic and simple painting, smudging, masking, color adjustment, lightning and some more.
What you’ll be creating
In this tutorial we will create a abstract poster using some image stocks. We will use some essential techniques in applying dodge and burn tool. We will use masking, brush tool, some filter, color adjustments all through the steps in this tutorial. Use Adobe Photoshop CS3 or higher.Hope you guys gonna enjoy this tutorial.

Step 1
create a new file with a width of 1278 px and a height of 900 px at 150 dpi (Dots per Inch).Fill it with black color.

Step 2
Ok now Make a new layer and name it “Space brush” Use the space brush you downloaded, paint a few space patterns/objects around the canvas:

Now reduce the opacity to 25 %.

Add more space nebulas to our canvas .

Now add vector mask from the bottom of layers palette .
Now activate Brush tool (B) with these settings :
Brush size: 400px
Hardness: 0%
Opacity: 40%
Flow: 100%
Color: #000000
Now paint over the highlighted area.

The result should be similar to this:

Step 3
Ok now Make a new layer and name it “Smoke” Use the Smoke brush set you downloaded, paint a few smoke around the canvas:

The result should be similar to this:

Add more smoke in our canvas with different layers.

Now select one of the smoke layer which we have created and then hit (CTRL+T) then make a right click and select warp and play with the shape of our smoke layer .See as below :

Follow the same step and add more smoke effects.

Ok now Make a new layer and name it “Particles” Use the Debris Brush you downloaded, paint a few smoke around the canvas and take #92886f as your fill color .

Next, activate the Transform tool (Ctrl/Cmd +T), then while the “Particles” layer is selected and then resize it as shown below:

Follow the same process and add more particles to our canvas.

Step 4
Now use one of the space brushes which we have downloaded earlier and then open the RockJagged0016 image and then make a new layer above RockJagged0016 layer and paint on that layer then hit (Ctrl+Click) on that layer to make it selected then select the RockJagged0016 and hit (ctrl+c) and copy that painted area.See as below
