ShutterStock
Shutterstock has a free file every week and they usually pick pretty good photos.
PhotoDune
PhotoDune is one of the newer stock photo websites but they have a free photo download every month. Unlike buying a photo, the free download doesn’t get saved into your account downloads so be sure to keep a backup!
Fotolia
Three free downloads every month! Simply click on the “Free Images” link on the bottom of their website.
Thinkstock
A microstock subscription site by the popular Getty Images! As you can guess, their photos are high quality stock photos and you can download a free one every week. The free photo link is located on the homepage after you login.
Big Stock Photos
Bigstock has a free image download weekly.
Crestock
Crestock also has free stock photos that they give away.
CanStockPhoto
To download the free download, you’ll need to login first. The link can be found on the homepage after you login.
Lightstock
Lightstock the best website for faith-focused stock photography. There is a new free image download every week.
PIXTA
Another website that offers a free weekly download. The free downloads can be found on the bottom-half of the page.
thanks for your sharing, lately img.photos is also great.
I use http://mediabakerymoments.tumblr.com/ when I’m searching for stock photos. They update their site every 2 weeks with 20 photos. All high res and under the CC license! Another great source to note.
Guys, http://www.iregioes.com.br site has many free photos of cities in Brazil.
Very interesting, easy and useful for everyone. Thanks for sharing.
Me and my friend are amateur photographers (although we do some paid work every now and then) and we have created this website
http://www.perfectexposure.org
We believe in free culture and we are going to post all our photos in full resolution on our website and can be used under following creative commons license.
http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
That means you can
remix, transform, and build upon the material
for any purpose, even commercially.
100% free of cost.
We have just started this project and within months there will be thousands of photos available.
If you like our work and want to promote free culture then please spread the word to everyone who might want to build upon our work.
If everything goes right then our plan is to recruit more like minded photographers and make this site really rich with 100% free stock photos
Thank you for supporting us
Kind regards,
Roy
Hi maybe you miss about http://www.hiresstock.com free hires stock photo for designers :)
good list, here is my site with free images for commercial use: http://freepix.eu/
Large free photos mostly from travelling: http://freepix.eu/
There is also kerioakimages.com part of the new and growing Symbiostock network of experienced independent stock image artists. Currently 130 members and over 170,000 images both increasing every day.
Another freebie site with higher res photos is http://www.adigitaldreamer.com/gallery/ which offers 1000+ images. Might be worth adding. :)
I prefer pixabay and morguefile over the others because all the photos are public domain. Other “free” places have restrictions on how the photos can be used, which defeats the purpose of the whole thing. You can also check out my site http://www.goodfreephotos.com for thousands of photos I’ve released into the public domain.
Check out http://www.goodfreephotos.com for free stock photos. Thousands there.
Thanks for the resources. that is what i have been looking for my website
Here is another free stock photos site with Pinterest like layout:
http://stockphotos.io

If you are a website designer, blogger here you can download high resolution Free stock images for free.
Great list!! Thanks for Sharing with us.
Stockpholio.com is good stuff and so is photoshoptutorials.ws =D
A good alternative to sxc is rgbstock.com
Not sure why “dreams time” is on any list? Personally, I found nothing FREE! And I will never purchase any images from these companies, advertising “LARGEST SELECTION OF FREE STOCK IMAGES”
They have paid and free photos. http://www.dreamstime.com/free-photos (make sure you have the “free stock images” in the search checked.)
I use Freerange Stock all the time – they have a LOT more than 700 images… over 25,000 from what I can tell.
Also, Crestock.com provides either a photo or vector art every day. It’s good stuff
Thanks Doug! Added Crestock.com
sites legais, parabéns pelo post, ajuda bastante!
