Step 23

Create a new layer and use the same brush to paint on the bottom of the foreground and alter the layer mode to Hard Light 100%.

Step 24

Make a new layer and use a soft brush with the color #e6802d to continue painting on the foreground. Change this layer mode to Overlay 100%and use a layer mask to reduce the opacity on some too red details .

Step 25

On a new layer and use a soft brush with the color #66b2d5to paint on the top left of the scene to strengthen the blue light on there . Alter the layer mode to Hard Light 100%.

Step 26

Create a new layer and use small brush with the color #63e0ffto paint blue strands to fill in the hair. I’ve used a layer mask to reduce the light on the hidden of the model (the right).

Step 27

In this step we’ll be adding the fire. Open the fire 1 image pack and I’ve chosen the image 30 but feel free to take your own. Drag this image onto the bottom of the foreground and change the mode to Screen 100%. Add a mask to this layer and use soft black to erase the hard edge remained on top of the image.

Step 28

Do the same with the fire 2 image (I’ve chosen the image 14 from the images pack). I’ve added it to the bottom right of the canvas and use a layer mask to reduce the fire’s effect to make it appear less strong and more natural.

Step 29

Create a Color Balanceadjustment layer on top of the layers and change the Midtones, Shadows and Highlightssettings:

Step 30

Make a Photo Filter adjustment layer and pick the color #1fbef9.

Create a Vibranceadjustment layer to enhance the color of the whole scene. On the layer mask, paint on the right of her cheek to reduce the saturation there.

Step 31

Open the spark image and drag it into the canvas using the Move Tooland alter the layer mode toLinear Dodge 100%. Add a mask to this layer to erase the firework on the middle and leave the sparks visible on the both sides.

Step 32

Add more spark to the left of the scene using a part from the original image.

Step 33

Select the spark layers and change the group’s mode to Linear Dodge 100%. Create a Levelsadjustment layer to increase the contrast of the effect.
