Interview with Illustrator Carolina Fuenmayor

How did you decide to portray the character in Mandorla?

This illustration was done as a request from a music band called “mandorla” (https://www.facebook.com/Mandorlamusik) , it was supposed to be an image that could work as a cover for their EP and at the same time a representation of them as a band. I sat with them and we discussed what was the meaning behind their music and style, what they imagine when they were playing, the colors that echoes through the notes, the themes in the lyrics, and as a result of that talk I came up with this character that resembles the lead singer of the band Laura, when she was a child with all of this fantasy around her.

What do you consider as your most significant accomplishment?
